Apple plans to remove iDOS 2 app, popular DOS emulator, from App Store.
iDOS 2 is often used to play classic DOS games on iPhones. App supports both iPhone and iPad.
This case should be observed if your app also provides environment emulation.
Apple says that iDOS 2 violates rule 2.5.2 of App Store Review Guidelines:
2.5.2 Apps should be self-contained in their bundles, and may not read or write data outside the designated container area, nor may they download, install, or execute code which introduces or changes features or functionality of the app, including other apps. Educational apps designed to teach, develop, or allow students to test executable code may, in limited circumstances, download code provided that such code is not used for other purposes. Such apps must make the source code provided by the app completely viewable and editable by the user.App Store Review Guidelines
As of now Chaoji Li, app developer, tried to submit bug fixes to App Store, but Apple rejects the app. So, app might be removed from the App Store within two weeks.
