So, the day has come, new releases are available for general audience. And the update process itself is also interesting.

Users might need to solve small puzzle to find an option to update to iOS 15 or iPadOS 15. Devices might show “your software is up to date” message, showing 14.8 release. And the only indication of update is banner telling users to “learn new features”. Only after scrolling user can see the option to update appearing at the bottom of the screen.

It might be bandwidth management, or simply gradual update process.

Nevertheless, updates are here. Xcode 13 is also released, available only in Mac App Store for now.

Important note, that Xcode 13 does not have macOS 12 Monterey SDK. So, if you’re testing apps for next macOS, you need to download Xcode 13 beta 5.

Corresponding HomePod software is also released.
