Some users are affected by two issues related to macOS 12 Monterey.
Updating to macOS Monterey could brick Macs. There are reports that Macs with T1 and T2 chips might have problems during the update process and, therefore, brick the device. Fortunately, this issue is quite rare and could be fixed at home.
Another issue is related to memory usage.
