Apple just made available new Mac Pro with Apple Silicon, and one particular issue now might need attention from the users.

Internal SATA drives are disconnected improperly when they’re sent to sleep mode. Apple published support article navigating users to address the issue in short term. Next macOS update should resolve the issue.

As of now users are recommended to turn off hard drive sleep mode, if SATA drives are used.
