Apple released Rapid Security Response for iOS – 16.5.1 (a) and macOS Ventura – 13.4.1 (a).
This update fixes vulnerability actively used to compromise Apple platforms. However, it became known that this update also causes issues for some users with web applications including Instagram and Facebook.
Apple then stopped distributing the update and currently promising new update to be available soon.
Users who already installed it and experience issues should wait for updated version in coming days.
Turns out that issue was due to User Agent text containing “(a)” and, therefore, breaking some of the checks on web sites.
