Apple Configurator has issues in macOS Sonoma 14

According to support article, Apple Configurator fails to add apps to iPhones and iPads. Apple suggests that issue will be resolved in next update.

As of now, Macs used for device management should not be updated to macOS Sonoma.

Addigy publishes report on Apple device Management

Addigy released a report on Apple device management in 2023. Report is based on a survey company held for 480 managed services providers.

Report shows importance of device management for Apple platforms, expected raise of Apple device usage highlighted by survey respondents.

Also, almost respondents consider Apple devices more secure and easier to manage in day-to-day activities.

Apple launches Business Essentials program

Apple introduced new program for small businesses – Business Essentials. This program provides iCloud storage, device management and device support to organizations with up to 500 employees.

A set of three simple Apple Business Essentials plans enable businesses to cover every employee and device in their organization. Plans can be customized to support each user with up to three devices and up to 2TB of secure storage in iCloud, starting at $2.99 per month, with optional AppleCare+ for Apple Business Essentials.
